When a group of veterans from Wounded Warrior Project ® (WWP) were invited to team up and compete on a special edition of this popular show, it wasn’t just about the fun – although they told us they did have fun. It was about the chance to share the spotlight with their fellow veterans.
Video games are more than a way to pass the time for Army veteran Dave Weiner. In a way, they saved his life. As the pandemic became widespread, Dave’s PTSD and anxiety flared. He felt alone. But things changed when he signed up for a Wounded Warrior Project ® (WWP) online gaming event.

Overview. WWP offers a variety of no-cost programs, services, and events for wounded veterans and veteran families. It runs several support programs. Warrior Care Network is a mental wellness program offering post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI) treatment through four academic medical centers in the United States.
