Although we love animals we are not able to welcome pets at As The River Bends Retreat at this time.
Smoking is not permitted in the domes or throughout the retreat property. We kindly ask for you to smoke only in your private outdoorspace near your dome. If it is discovered that smoking has occurred in the dome, there will be an automatic $250.00 charge for cleaning.
There is a 2 night minimum booking requirement for weekend stays. During our winter season we offer single night weekday bookings perfect for a winter escape! For more information please contact us.

We are excited to welcome you for your stay after 3:00pm. If you are arriving later than 6pm please contact us to arrange late check in options. Our check out time is 11:00am.
After 10:30pm we ask guests to be mindful of their noise level and to be respectful of other guests and wildlife. We are confident you will want to enjoy the peacefulness and stillness of the retreat, you may even hear “Hoot” our resident owl!
At time of booking 50% of your stay is due, the remaining balance will be charged at time of check in. 1980 the Mulberry River was classified as a "navigable" river. 1981 Brad Wimberly bought Turner Bend from the Turner family. Wimberly moved into the back of the old store and started renting canoes. 1986-1987 Wimberly built the existing store. Campground expansion, cabin rentals, and further improvements follow.
